Question about Black heads,Please help!?

Hey, so i have a load of black heads on my nose and i mean loads! and i have them on my chin to. and i was just wondering i have this exfoliating thing called black head control but on the Label it just says to gently massage on, however i was wondering if i could do a steam thing to open my pores and then massage it on or would that be a bad idea ??!

Thanks!Question about Black heads,Please help!?
Blackheads are caused by partially blocked pores. The ';black'; appearance of them is not caused by dirt, but by the oxidising effect of air on the sebum (oil) in a blocked pore and the melanin pigment from the dead skin cells.

The best way to reduce the appearance of blackheads is to do the following, twice a week:

1. Wash the skin using a gentle, natural exfoliating product and pat the skin dry

2. Fill a bowl/basin with boiling water, and a few drops of tea tree oil

3. Steam your face for about 5 minutes to open the pores and soften the skin

4. Apply a clay mask * These masks will attract and absorb the oil in the blocked pore.

5. Let the mask work for the allocated time (10 minutes to an hour)

6. Rinse off with warm water and pat the skin dry

7. If you have scars or red marks from previous acne, this is a good time to apply a good scar treatmentQuestion about Black heads,Please help!?
Here is something that works instantly, with visible results! :D

Pore strips, which can come in a range of brands too. Witch hazel pore strips are probably the best and they're designed to fit the nose shape area (they have forehead and chin ones too) If you can't find witch hazel ones, settle for any brand.

You wet your nose, stick it on, leave it on for about 10 mins (instructions will be on the pack anyway) and then rip it off. It isn't painful, don't worry! And if your skin is sensitive/dry you can still use them no problem. You will see all the blackheads on the used strip so you can see how much it works!

Good luck!
I have had the same problem, you should get a bowl of boiling water and place your face over the bowl with a towel over the back of your head and over the bowl. Stay here for about 5 minutes then gently squeeze your black heads (not with your nails but with the sides of your fingers). Then to the steam bowl again and after wards use a face wash.
You could buy a black head remover from the Body Shop if you know where that is. Its a metal stick with hoops at the ends (one bigger and one smaller) made for squeezing black heads out when placed over them properly. It's brilliant, i have one!
Get one of those Biore strips that you stick on your nose and pull them off lol it might hurt a little but it works or just use facewash (:
I think steaming would be fine as it opens pores and losens dirt in the pores. It should make it easier for the blackheads to come out.
