okay, I have a few black heads that are on my upper lip / lip line, that really bother me. The black heads kind of look like they are under the skin, so I'm not sure what to do. I've tried the Biore strips and they didn't work. Anyone know anything I can do to get rid of them? Thanks!Black heads on upper lip?
Black heads are bacteria build up in your pores. What you need to do is exfoliate around your lip area to remove the dead skin that is blocking the bacteria from leaving the pores. You have to remember to exfoliate 2x a week to help shed the dead skin, so your pores could breath and bacteria doesn't get clogged. Do not pop or squeeze them or you will get scars. You can get a apricot scrub at your local drug store or you could use a natural scrub. The natural scrub I make is- get a bowl of sugar and apply honey to it and mix it in together until creamy. Wet your face and apply the mixture to your face and massage in a very gentle circular motion and wash it off and pat dry. Do this a couple times a week until the black head is removed. Once the dead skin is removed and the pore could breath, the sugar and honey from being sticky will slid it right out.Black heads on upper lip?
Can you squeeze them out and put an antiseptic on them?
Try steaming to open the pores and then gently squeeze the blackheads out. More home remedies posted at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/blackheads.h鈥?/a>
Try Proavtive - I hear its great for oily skin! They have a 30 program to try their products:www.proactive.com. Blackheads are usually a sign of clogged pores - Acccutane also works.
Also, wash your face after taking a hot, steamy shower-the steam will open the pores. Then clean them and use toner.
I used to have this issue, it could be the lip liner or gloss you're using. You will need to pop them or they won't go away on their own. Switch up your makeup. I changed my foundation all together. I now use Bare Minerals and I haven't had a single blemish in over six months. You might look into it. Go into an Ulta near you and try it out.
Try a facial at a salon. They will open up the pores with steam and squeeze the black head out without hurting the tissues. Then they'll wash the area off with an astringent agent and cold water to prevent infection and close the pores back up.
You could try it at home too, but the results may not be the same.
you need to keep your face clean... wash it more... if you sweat and are outside you must wash when coming inside... blackheads are dirt. Dirt... that collects in your pores. It will go away if you just change the way you clean your face. Use a warm soapy rag.... You must sweat alot ..thats when your pores are open...when you cool down they close... collecting what is on your face...dirt. That is why they are black. Hope this helps.
