i used vaseline lotion in my face will this be the cause for my blackheadsI always keep my face clean but i still get black heads plzz help...?

Vasaline isn't a good idea to put on your face espically if you do this at night before bed. The oil content in it clogs up your pours, which in turn causes spots / blackheads.


How you WASH your face can play a very important part in keeping them spots away. I will tell you how i do it ok and you can give it ago.





1. Get a bowl and fill it with Hot water (not boiling) and place a flannel or cloth in water for a few seconds.





2. Ringe the flannel out and hold it over your face for a few seconds till it starts to feel cool. This technique Opens your pours.





3. Then wash your face as normal but with a soap thats PH Balanced and not perfummed. Dove soap is good for this.





4. Rince your face as normal.





5. Before you dry your face do the same again as with the hot flannel but using a cold compress. Place the cold flannel over your face for about a 30seconds. This closes your pours.





6. Pat your face dry, not rub it.





also you may wana buy a face cream for spots / blackheads. Theres one called nightclear and you put this on before bed after washing. I dont suffer from spots but i still use this technique every night and day.





If you wear makeup, apply a face cream (not vasaline lotion)


to your face before you apply makeup. This makes it easier for you to remove the makeup properly and it builds a barrier from your pours.I always keep my face clean but i still get black heads plzz help...?
Steam your face once a week for 3 to 4 minutes to open up the pores. Use a home made face scrub using the white of an egg and a little salt.More cheap and natural remedies for black and white heads at the link below.
Sarah gave u some good advice! you say you use vaseline lotion, i'm assuming b/cause your skincare regimen also drys your skin out...You should try an Oi of Olay face cleanser for combination skin. It will cleanse it as well as moisturize. Blackhed are actually genectics. Does your mom/ dad or siblins also suffer from them? All you can do is use a washcoth instead of just your hands when you wash your face. Also, if your try to conceal them durin the day make sure th make-up you use is ';oil free'; %26amp; ';non comedengic';, which means i won't clog your pores. Good luck!
